THE GO-VIKING CONSORTIUM

The project brings together expertise from research, industry and technical safety organisations (TSOs) to gather and improve good practices and develop accurate simulation methods that will support the prediction and evaluation of FIV phenomena by EU stakeholders, as well as their decision-making on FIV countermeasures in power plants.

Our partners consist of top experts in the fields of nuclear safety and FIV phenomena from all over the world. Recognizing that active research is performed worldwide, the GO-VIKING project interfaces directly with eminent experts and institutions in different fields. The involvement of the GO-VIKING partners in relevant related projects and research allows them to directly utilize the most recent insights and results, and make them available to EU stakeholders.
